On April 14th, Facebook[6] user Bobbie Diggs posted several screenshots claiming to be in touch with the young boy's mother, who says that the boy is not suffering from any broken bones but has some bruising. Diggs also shared a GoFundMe link, saying that proceeds will go to the boy's family. Diggs's claims are unverified (seen below, left).

Also on April 14th, 2024, X[7] user @AmeliaBrac1336 posted a Snapchat screenshot of a young boy in a hospital bed with dried blood on his face. The image was captioned, "the aftermath #lexibonner." The user claims that the image is of the young boy seen in the viral footage, however, this is unverified. The post gathered over 13,000 likes in a day (seen below, right).
